About Crafterify

Crafterify is a website about making small rented homes work better. We write practical guides for closets, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry spaces and studio apartments, with a focus on changes you can make without drilling, painting or losing your security deposit.

Why this site exists

Most home organization advice assumes you own the place. It tells you to build in shelves, swap the closet system or hang a heavy rail on the wall. Renters usually can’t do any of that, and they’re often working with less space to begin with.

So we start from the limits renters really have: standard-size apartment rooms, shallow closets, small kitchens, landlord rules and a move-out inspection at the end.

What you’ll find here

  • Guides built around measurements. We tell you what to measure, what fits at each size and where the common mistakes happen.
  • Our own diagrams. We draw floor plans and cabinet diagrams to scale so you can compare them to your own space.
  • Honest limits. If something needs screws, a landlord’s permission or more weight capacity than a no-drill product can hold, we say so.

Who writes the guides

Crafterify is an independent site run by a small editorial team. Read our editorial policy to see how we research, write and update articles.
